Hello everyone!
Here is the list of members for each event: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1x5lDoMQF7F-9IP7ruOKbOi0AO2OIL8olfDaVk5o6F88/edit?usp=sharing
Make sure to exchange contact information with the members in your group. If you need help with contacting anyone, please let us know. You should create a close relationship with your partner(s) so the work is evenly divided and no one gets left behind.
This week we will start with the "Round 1" events, so be sure to bring resources(laptops, review books, rules for that event, etc.) to help you design your models or to study for any study events.
Just a heads up, you will not being able to finish everything if you only spend time working on your events outside of club during the next 10 meetings.
For those with study events, make sure to create a schedule to study a topic every week. If you're not in the AP class for the event that you are in, please briefly look at the classes curriculum and material to help you study. Some suggestions: make flashcards, write catchy songs to help you memorize things, or make jeopardy games for your topic.
If you need help studying in ANY way, please let us know and we will gladly help!
Trust us, you don't want to cram the night before the day of competition when you have to arrive at the location by 6.
As for those with building events, be prepared to take turns taking your devices home to work on them. This year we will NOT be able to work inside of school when there is a break because of reasons. So please PLEASE dont cram and put effort into your work.
-Saher and Michelle
